The
Grand
Prairie Stadium, formerly QuikTrip Park and The
Ballpark in Grand Prairie, is a sports arena in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was
established in May 2008 and was the primary home of the Texas AirHogs, a
professional baseball team affiliated with the American Association, from 2008
to 2019. The USL League Two soccer team Texas United used it as their home
stadium from 2017 to 2019. After the AirHogs team dissolved in October 2020, it
was announced that American Cricket Enterprises, a commercial partner of USA
Cricket, had taken over the lease for the stadium. They plan to transform the
ballpark into a cricket pitch with a $20 million redevelopment that began in
April 2022. Once complete, the stadium is expected to be the home of a
Dallas-based cricket team in the Major League Cricket domestic Twenty20 league.
It will also function as a training facility and United States national team
